Directions to Redruth Rugby

We’re looking forward to greeting you at Redruth Rugby’s Recreation Ground: here’s some of the best ways to get to the home of Cornish Rugby.

By Train

Alight at Redruth train station. For those of you wishing to avoid a short cab journey (there is a taxi rank outside the station), then cross over the road and head down the hill, taking the first right into Alma Place towards the town centre. Follow the road right, then turn immediately left into Green Lane. Continue straight ahead until you reach a mini-roundabout: head left here and the road up to the pedestrian gate at Redruth Rugby will be the first on your right.

By Plane

The nearest airport is Newquay Airport, with regular flights available from various destinations. If you’re coming straight to the match from your flight, either take a taxi or hire a car and follow the signs to the A30, then head west past Truro and follow the instructions below.

Alternatively, if you’re flying here we’d recommend making the most of your visit and make it into a short weekend break in Cornwall. We’ve teamed up with the Penventon Hotel to offer a fantastic value weekend package: you should see what a great offer it is by clicking here.

From the A30, travelling west

Take the second exit with signs to Redruth. At the top of the sliproad take the first left from the first roundabout onto the second roundabout, and take the second exit towards the town centre. After passing four turnings to the left as well as the ambulance station on the right, take the fifth left into Lower Cardrew Lane and the club gates will be ahead on the left.

On matchdays, supporters coming by car must drive through the North Street entrance: this is on the left before reaching the fifth left turn.

From the A30, travelling east

Take the first Redruth exit, after travelling past Camborne and Pool. Take the third exit from the first roundabout at the top of the sliproad, then the second exit from the second roundabout and follow the instructions above.
